Catherine H. Christman is the primary spokesperson for ETV. Christman had served as director of Communications at ETV since September 2001. Under her aegis several high-profile projects, such as the celebration of the 30th anniversary of ETV Radio, and the kickoff of ETV's digital broadcast service, the South Carolina Channel, were undertaken.

In addition, Christman has served as director of public relations for Fox 5 television in New York and WNBC-TV, NBC’s flagship station. While at WNBC, Christman also served as editorial director from 1987 to 1989. During that time she received an Emmy nomination for her body of work.

Christman joined the staff of CNBC in 1989, the year the cable channel first aired, and was a producer on “The McLaughlin Show” featuring political pundit John McLaughlin.

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in English and Communications from Hunter College in 1973.

Christman resides in Columbia and is married to Kenneth Christman. Between them, they have three daughters.
