About ETV
Bobbi J. Kennedy
Senior Vice President for Education
Bobbi J. Kennedy manages the Education Division that provides programs and services for early childhooold, K-12, higher and medical education, business and industry, law enforcement, city, county and state government and non-profit groups. The division also coordinates the programming offered via ETV's 32 channel satellite service to over 1700 sites throughout the state and beyond.
Kennedy joined ETV in 1971 as a grants writer, became the director of state agency services in 1972 and the division director in 1977. Prior to joining the network she taught English, speech and theatre in Minnesota. She serves on a variety of education committees including the K-12 Technology Committee, Communities in Schools for the Midlands, Clemson's advisory board for the Institute for Family Life, and USC's Cardinal Bernardin Religion Lectureship.
A native of South Dakota, she received her BA in speech and theatre from Sioux Falls college and her master's of English from The University of South Dakota. She is also a graduate of the South Carolina Executive Institute and the Center for Creative Leadership summer program.
