ETV and The State Newspaper To Present Primary Election Coverage Throughout the Night on Tuesday, June 13

Columbia, SC...On Election night, Tuesday, June 13, Andrew Gobeil will anchor The ETV and The State Election Coverage, with updates throughout the evening--at 6:56 p.m., 7:56 p.m. and 8:56 p.m., culminating in an hour-long special beginning at 10 p.m.

In addition to these live broadcasts, ETV will also be scrolling election results at the bottom of the television screen to give viewers the most current information available.

ETV Radio will also be providing updates at least once an hour throughout the night and will simulcast the 10 p.m. program.

During that program, Brad Warthen, editor of the editorial page for The State newspaper and Jack Bass, a College of Charleston professor and author of “The Transformation of Southern Politics,” will join Gobeil and ETV's Beryl Dakers, to analyze the voting results and discuss its impact.  Other special guests will be in the studio and at ETV’s regional stations to provide perspective on both statewide and local races from the Lowcountry, Upstate and Piedmont areas.

In addition, ETV will have access to the gubernatorial candidates’ campaign headquarters in order to capture the mood, speak with campaign representatives and hear the victory and/or concession speeches.

ETV is South Carolina’s statewide network with 11 television stations, eight radio stations and a closed-circuit educational telecommunications system in more than 2000 schools, colleges, businesses, and government agencies.SC Farm Bureau Federation logo.
