STARTING 2008 New FCC regulations are requiring that DELC's no longer broadcast in analog. ETV and the State Department of Education are planning to transition the DELC's to an Internet delivery that will stream video on demand. |
The DELC's are a cooperative mission that includes ETV, the State Department of Education, and local school districts across the state.
- Currently, each DELC is equipped to broadcast minimum four TV channels simultaneously with educational resources that can support each schools instructional needs.
- Every DELC has access to an interactive TV studio which allows a presenter to communicate with its viewers.
- The DELC's are stocked with an inventory of quality educational programs provided by the State Department of Education's Instructional TV Department and the South Carolina ETV Network.
- Qualified staff provided by the respective school districts are on duty to address your learning challenges.
- DELC's now have the capability to create video streaming files and load them within ETV's StreamlineSC
