Debbie Alexander
A teacher at Granard Middle School for 17 years, Debbie earned her bachelor of art degree in elementary education from Limestone College and her master's degree in divergent learning from Columbia College. A mathematics teacher for 16 years, Debbie added geography to her teaching duties this year. Eight years in a row, the students at Granard named her "Best All Around Teacher," and in the 1990-91 and 2000-01 school years she was named "Teacher of the Year."
Debbie's present goal is to earn her doctorate degree in elementary
education so she can teach at the graduate school level.

Vickie Adams
Vickie serves the middle schools in Laurens County School District
56 as an instructional technology facilitator. She is currently
seeking a master's degree in elementary education at Columbia
College, with an emphasis on teaching divergent learners.
Vickie was hired by the school district in 1984 as a teacher's
assistant and eventually moved into the position of school secretary.
Her dream as a child was to become a teacher, and this dream was
fulfilled when she graduated from Lander University in
1998. She is excited about technology in education and strives daily
to integrate technology into the curriculum while addressing the South
Carolina Standards.
