Brenda L. Lyles
Brenda is the Technology Coach at New Heights Middle School in Jefferson, SC. Prior to that she taught middle school math and history in the Arvin Union School District in Arvin, CA. She was named a master teacher for six years while in the district. She also was named to the California Leadership Team.
Brenda earned a BA in History and a MA in Education from California State University, Bakersfield.

Wendy
Lacombe
Wendy has been teaching English in a variety of locations for the past 15 years. Expanding the drama program at Citrus High School in Inverness, FL, and teaching the emotionally handicapped at a private school in Massachusetts were two of her first endeavors. She later taught seminars for the gifted before coming to South Carolina. Wendy worked intensively with tech prep at Beaufort Jasper Academy for Career Excellence and currently teaches English in the Freshman Academy at Wade Hampton High School in Varnville, SC.
She received her B.A. from St. Leo College in Florida.
Bill Langston
Bill is the media specialist/technology coordinator at Ashley River Creative Arts Elementary in Charleston. Prior to that he was the media specialist at Burns Elementary. Along with his regular teaching duties, Bill is currently teaching re-certification classes in technology for the Charleston County School District. He has participated in Train the Trainer sessions for CCSD 2003 and the NOAA Office of Ocean Exploration Charleston Bump Expedition 2003.
Bill earned a B.A. in English from Coker College and an
M.L.S. from the University of South Carolina. He was awarded
his National Board Certified Media Specialist accreditation
in 2002.

Barbara Langston
Barbara supervises student teachers and advises students at the College of Charleston. In addition, she works with the Charleston Math and Science Hub developing and presenting mathematics workshops.
Prior to joining the staff at the College of Charleston, she was a K-12 mathematics coordinator for the Berkeley County schools. She has experience working as a school psychologist, facilitator of programs for the handicapped, director of Title IV C projects, and a mathematics teacher for grades 5-10.
Barbara earned an education degree in curriculum
and instruction from the University of South Carolina,
a master's degree in psychology/special education from
The Citadel, and a bachelor of art's degree in mathematics
from the University of Florida.
Sarah Lee
Currently a member of the faculty of Gilbert Middle School in Lexington District 1, Sarah teaches eighth-grade math and Algebra 1. Prior to joining the Gilbert Middle School faculty, Sarah taught Algebra 1, pre-Algebra, and reading in Lexington District 4. In addition, she was an eighth-grade team leader, a member of the Principal's Advisory Committee, a homebound teacher and inclusion teacher, a Math and Science Olympiad coach, a S.T.E.M.S. facilitator, and a member of the Mathematics Assessment Committee. She participated in the MIMS (Midlands Improving Math and Science) Hub's Curriculum Leadership Institute, and was a presenter at the SC2 and SCCTM conferences.
Sarah graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a bachelor of science degree in middle and secondary education.
Jeff Linville Since 1997, Jeff has run the State department of Education's Greenwood Regional Technology Center at Lander College. Prior to that, he was the science educator for the Gifted and Talented in physical science, physics, and Principals of Technology programs at Laurens District 55 High School. He created and taught a course on the Internet at Lander University, and organized and supervised Net Day '96 at Laurens District 55 High School.
Jeff is a member of the Association for Educational Communication
and Technology, the American Association of Physics Teachers,
and Phi Delta Kappa. In 1992, he was selected to serve
on the Praxis Review Committee for the National Teachers'
Exam for Physics, and, in 1994, he was nominated for a
Presidential Science Teachers Award.
