Judy Olsen-Robinson Judy Olsen-Robinson

A seventh-grade language arts teacher at Gaffney Middle School, Judy earned her associate of arts degree from Spartanburg Tech, her bachelor's degree in education from the University of South Carolina-Spartanburg, and her master's degree in education from Columbia College. Prior to joining the faculty at Gaffney Middle, she taught language arts and World Geography at Granard Junior High School in Gaffney.

During the 1998-99 school year, she instituted a program where seventh grade students could adopt or sponsor one of Dr. Sonny King's sled dogs for the Iditarod Sled Dog Race in Alaska. In March 2001, she presented a program on "Creating a Classroom Magazine" at the Middle School Conference in Myrtle Beach. She was named a "Shining Star" of the Cherokee County School District PACT Committee 1999-2001 and the county's Mentoring Program 2000.
