Geraldine Yates
Prior to taking the job as Technology Coach at Petersburg Primary School in Pageland, SC, Geraldine taught 6th grade Language Arts at New Heights Middle School in Jefferson, SC. In addition, she has been an Instructional Technology Specialist and classroom teacher in grades 4-8.
Geraldine earned a BA degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a MEd in Social Studies from UNC-Charlotte. While teaching in North Carolina, she twice won the Terry Sandford Creativity Award and was named Outstanding Young Teacher by the Rotary Club and Outstanding Math Teacher for Cabarrus County.
Becky Zeigler
Becky is a 3rd grade teacher at Sandhills Elementary School in Swansea. Earning a BA in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina Aiken and an IMA in Natural Sciences from USC, Becky started her career in Lexington District 4, teaching 6th grade for six years and then working with Parent Education and early intervention with children birth to age 3 for 18 months. She then moved to Sandy Run Elementary in Calhoun County to teach 3rd grade for four years. Becky then returned to teaching in Lexington District 4.

Susan Yelton With 20 years of teaching experience, Susan is currently an eighth-grade Earth Science teacher at Dent Middle School in Columbia. Prior to joining the faculty at Dent Middle School, she taught science in grades six and seven at
Busbee Middle School from 1988-1996. In addition, she has worked as an education specialist for the SC Wildlife Department and taught in the Richland One School District.
During her years in teaching, Susan has been named "Teacher of the Year," acted as BSAP liaison and as a State Department of Education consultant, and chaired numerous education committees. She has served as a trainer/master teacher for the Midlands Math and Science Hub, SC Maps, Project Wild, Project Learning Tree, and Aquatic Wild. Her favorite project is Dent Middle School's Science Club. She has received grants for the last three years to fund exciting field trips, equipment and meetings for the Club.
Susan holds a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from the University of South Carolina and is currently working on her master's degree in secondary science from USC.
